The Foothill Symphonic Winds welcomes and depends on contributions from individuals and corporations. The FSW's operating expenses include music purchases, concert hall rental, insurnce conductor fees, marketing, etc.  Our operating funds come from several different sources, including ticket sales and donations.

The Foothill Symphonic Winds is a California non-profit, public benefit corporation and has been determined to be exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code and classed as a public charity under sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(2). FSW is qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifs under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code. Our Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 45-3180318. The effective date of our exemption is April 26, 2011, the date of our incorporation.

If you are a patron of the arts and would like to help support your local community band and our efforts to provide music and music education to the community, we would welcome your tax deductible donations.

Donations in any amount may be submitted through our secure PayPal account by clicking the button below. Please enter the amount of your donation into the open box on the page that will open up next. If you don't have a PayPal account that you wish to use, you can click on the "Continue" link in the lower left of the donation page to use one of the acceptable credit cards.  You will have the option of designating a special fund to receive your donation. We also request that you provide a mailing address for a donation acknowledgement letter that may be filed with your tax return.
